The model 817SA is designed for those who wish for a rugged machine for hand case packing and semi-automatic case sealing. Designed on our proven Model 817RSC Case Sealer the machine is shortened to fit in smaller areas while still providing the rugged dependability of our fully automatic unit. An extended package plate provides the operator a place to pack the hand erected box to ease case packing. After case is filled the operator closes the top trailing minor flap and pushes it into the opposed side belt drive; the machine does the rest by automatically closing the flaps and sealing them. You have a choice of sealing method of hot melt or pressure sensitive tape.
T.A.D. Packaging Machinery provides a wide range of case sealers to accommodate even the most difficult, hard to handle, large RSC/FOL style boxes. Case size changeovers are a snap using a crank adjustable tower for the height of the box and crank adjustable side belts for the width of the box; changeovers are completed within minutes with virtually no interruption in production flow. The Model 817 can be purchased to seal boxes with tape or glue and configured to seal as top only, bottom only, or top and bottom closure.
